The United States has recently blacklisted 15 more Indian companies, alleging they’re directly aiding Russia in its military activities against Ukraine. While Western nations impose sanctions on Russia, the involvement of Indian companies has raised serious questions on the global stage. Yet, India’s government remains silent. Is our Prime Minister doing anything about this? Is India asleep at such a crucial moment?
Indian Companies on the Blacklist
The U.S. Department of Commerce has listed several Indian companies accused of providing technological or material support to Russia. The companies include:
1. Acme Tele Network India Private Limited
2. CSC Electronics
3. Global Links
4. RV Telecom Private Limited
5. Mega Components India Private Limited
6. LME Electronics
7. Asian Trade Links
8. Droyder Infosystem Private Limited
9. SSL Pharma
10. Apex Vision India
11. Naya Circular Industries
12. Servicing Components
13. Paramount Instruments
14. Genetic Trades
15. Master Innovation Limited
The U.S. alleges that these companies are aiding Russia by supplying technology that bolsters Russia’s military capabilities.
India’s Response: Is There One?
This raises the question: why is the Indian government silent? While India and Russia have a longstanding relationship, India should clarify its position given the current international climate. While the world’s eyes are watching, should our government not respond to the actions of these companies? Is India’s foreign policy sound, or are we only being fed empty promises and international theatrics?
What Should India’s Stand Be?
India must take a strong stand that balances our independent foreign policy with accountability for domestic actors compromising our international reputation. Our leadership must ensure India holds a place of integrity on the world stage and, at the same time, takes action against entities acting against the country's interests.
India deserves leaders who can position the nation in the international arena with dignity, addressing both international and domestic challenges with clear action.

This is my view, @ispat, and I believe in a country where true peace, stability, and justice prevail.
